After more than 10 years of lobbying and negotiations a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between New Zealand and the European Union is secured. The agreement is set to remove tariffs on just about everything traded between the two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ed’s role as EU FTA deputy will give us insight in the current state of the NZ-EU Free Trade Agreement, next steps, legislation, geographical indicators, as well as the inteded outcomes. There is a strong focus on sustainable development and other key areas such as services, investment, public engagement processes and M\u0101ori trade and cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maureen will be speaking about the business implementation of the FTA and opportunities it provides with a focus on SMEs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
